Required participants for test: BOTH paternal Alleged Grandparents and 1 Alleged Grand-Child. (Testing cannot be performed with only one grandparent.)
Optional participant: The 1 known parent of the Child (biological mother).
Probability of Grand-parentage will indicate either: <15% or >90%
EXCLUSION = <15% (The likelyhood that the alleged grand-child is the true biological offspring of the Alleged Grand-parent(s) is very low; thus unlikely that they are related).
INCLUSION = >90% (The likelyhood that the alleged grand-child is the true biological offspring of the Alleged Grand-parent(s) is very high; thus likely that they are related).
* A chain-of-custody is required for legal testing. A $35 collection fee to establish a chain-of-custody is added for each participant.
