Required participants for test: 2 Alleged Siblings (unless otherwise noted by the courts)
Optional participant: Any known parent of either sibling being tested.
Probability of Half-Siblingship will indicate either: <15% or >90%
EXCLUSION = <15% (The likelyhood that they do share 1 common parent is very low; thus unlikely that that do)
INCLUSION = >90% (The likelyhood that they do share 1 common parent is very high; thus it is likely that they do)
* A chain-of-custody is required for legal testing. A $35 collection fee to establish a chain-of-custody is added for each participant.
Please note, it is strongly recommended that a parent participates in the DNA test. However, with or without the parent, there is always the possibility that the results can be inconclusive.
If more than 2 siblings is to be included in the testing, the additional fee is $300 for each additional sibling.
